As a service provider we are responsible for our own content under general law. We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information. Our site contains links to external websites over whose content we have no influence; the respective provider is responsible for the content of linked pages.

What we process

• Hosting & access: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages. The host may process server log data (incl. IP address) to deliver and secure the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Problem-intake form: if you submit the intake form, the data you enter (name, email, role, your message) is sent to a Cloudflare Worker and stored to let us contact you about your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). It is not sold or shared beyond this purpose.
• AI faculty chat: messages you send to the AI tutors are forwarded to a Cloudflare Worker and to Anthropic's API to generate replies. Do not enter sensitive personal data into the chat.
• No advertising cookies / trackers: the site sets no marketing or analytics cookies. The simulation stores your score locally in your own browser (localStorage) only.

Processors

We use GitHub (Pages hosting), Cloudflare (edge worker & storage), and Anthropic (AI replies) as processors. Data may be processed outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email info@kaernschools.com.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal retention duties, then deleted.

Cancellation Policy / Widerrufsbelehrung

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise it, inform us (Sachin Kumar, Belfortstraße 8, 50668 Cologne, Germany; info@kaernschools.com) by a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email). Sending the notice before the period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and within 14 days, using the same means of payment you used, unless expressly agreed otherwise; no fees are charged for the refund.

Digital content & services (§ 356 BGB)

For digital content and digital services that begin during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal expires once performance has begun — provided you expressly consented to the immediate start and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. We request this consent at checkout where applicable.

Kaern Schools is an educational programme. Content on this site is provided for information; pricing, equity and admission terms shown are indicative and confirmed in writing at admission. The “AI-Native Operator” is a credential of demonstrated capability, not a state-accredited academic degree. The AI faculty provides educational guidance, not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Use of the site is at your own risk; we make no warranty of uninterrupted availability.
