A Kaern Schools course for founders building Kaern startups. Tutor: Mara
Welcome to the class
Hi again — I'm Mara. In the Marketing, SEO & AEO course I taught you to be found. This course is about being everywhere your buyer already scrolls — Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok — without hiring an agency or burning out. The trick isn't posting more; it's building a small content engine: one idea in, many platform-native posts out, scheduled, measured, and feeding back into search and answer engines. I'll use cyclewash.com's real channels as the worked example — it posts the same machine across Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and X threads, each shaped to fit the room.
Who this is for
Founders who are the social team. You have a product, a phone, and an hour a day. Good — that's the constraint this engine is built for.
What you'll be able to do by the end
- Turn one asset (a blog post, a demo video, a customer story) into a week of platform-native posts.
- Write hooks that survive the first second of the scroll.
- Make every post answer-engine friendly so it reinforces your SEO/AEO, not competes with it.
- Run a repeatable weekly cadence with a simple content calendar.
- Read the three numbers that tell you what's working, and double down.
Module 1 — The engine, not the post
Amateurs ask "what should I post today?" — a blank-page question that guarantees burnout. The engine asks "what's the source asset this week, and what does it become on each platform?"
SOURCE ASSET ──▶ atomise ──▶ shape per platform ──▶ schedule ──▶ measure ──▶ back into SEO
(blog / demo / (5–10 ideas) (native format, (calendar) (3 numbers) (cite the post)
customer story) native length)
One pillar asset per week. Atomise it into 5–10 atoms (a stat, a before/after, a myth-bust, a how-to step, a customer quote). Each atom becomes a post, shaped for one platform. That's 5–10 posts from one hour of thinking.
Specimen: cycleWASH films one wash cycle. That single clip becomes a 15-second Instagram reel (satisfying before/after), a YouTube short (with a spoken benefit), an X post (a GIF + a one-line stat), and a LinkedIn post (ROI angle for facility managers). One shoot, four rooms.
